There’s More Than One Show In Vegas, But PAMC Will Be at PACK EXPO

The Flamingo in Las VegasPAMC will once again be at PACK EXPO Sept. 25-27 in Las Vegas, and while we’ve been going for a few years now, there have been some shows in Vegas that have been around a lot longer.  (Think Cats on Broadway.)

Every year we put out Andy’s List, a fun list of facts about the cities where the packaging shows are held.  This year it’s the top 5 longest running shows in Vegas!

And the winners are….

  1. Les Folies Bergere: This topless showgirl revue at the Tropicana lasted for nearly 50 years.  It stands today as the longest running show in Vegas history and it’s run will be difficult to beat.  High end celebrities and guests, like Frank Sinatra, would show up and rub elbows with the showgirls at the bar afterward.
  2. Jubilee: This show at Bally’s ran for 34 years.  The dancers were clad in rhinestones and giant feather headwear and entertained thousands of visitors from around the world.  It will go down in history as the last showgirl production in the city.
  3. Mystere:  Mystere opened in 1993 as the first Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas and became the first permanent production of any Cirque du Soleil show in the world.  The show is still going strong at Treasure Island – as are many of the other Cirque du Soleil shows – such as…
  4. O: It came along just a few years after Mystere, it’s been in Vegas at the Bellagio since 1998.  This Cirque du Soleil show stands out because of it’s huge onstage pool.  The production celebrates water and Mother Earth, and enchants audiences with flowing movements and a 14th century-themed storyline.
  5.  Legends in Concert: As of 2017, Legends in Concert has celebrated 34 years in Las Vegas. It began as a six-week residency at the Imperial Palace, but it now wows audiences all year long from the Flamingo. Legends in Concert has impersonators take the stage to perform the hits of classic and current musicians.

Don’t forget our Network Gathering is at Grill 55 in the Las Vegas Renaissance Hotel on Tuesday, September 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  You’ll find all the info here .
